About Our Church
St. Luke Lutheran Church (Toronto) and Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (Aurora) — one growing Persian-speaking family, two locations.
For years, these two churches have kept a light of hope and Christ's love burning in this land, and their Persian-speaking congregation keeps growing by God's grace.
We try, with love, kindness and honesty, to bring the good news of the gospel — a message of hope, peace and salvation — to more people. We believe that anyone who hears it with an open heart will taste a new freshness of life, peace and love.

Sunday service
Our service opens with a hymn. Sister Mona then shares an uplifting message with the congregation, followed by three more hymns, during which we pray together for fellow believers. Brother Dariush then brings a teaching from Scripture, church news is announced, and the service closes in prayer. On services that include Holy Communion, this sacred moment is held in a quiet, reverent atmosphere, with a short message from the pastor.
Wednesday Bible study
Bible study is a journey deep into God's Word. Brother Dariush walks the congregation through a chosen passage of Scripture from beginning to end, week by week, opening up its meaning for anyone who wants to go further than simply listening.
